I’m Lerry, and I’m so excited to have you here.

Welcome to Ler’s Latest Flair! I have been creating healthier variations (or rather, different ‘Flairs’) of amazing recipes for years now. I share these recipes with my clients, friends, and family to integrate into and enjoy in their everyday lives. Some of these recipes are especially useful when they are aiming to hit specific macros, eat healthier, or simply enjoy wholesome and balanced meals.

As someone who has helped countless women smash their fitness goals by making simple tweaks to their meals, I know the power of a well-balanced diet firsthand. That is why I created this blog. To share my ever-increasing collection of awesome recipes with you. Recipes that not only taste amazing but that will also leave you feeling incredible.

From nutrient-packed creations to those comforting classics we all crave. The recipes you will find here cater to various tastes and dietary preferences… Because hey, who says that eating healthier can’t be great for your body, AND delicious too?! I do want to add that my aim is not to create the lowest-calorie variations that exist. Rather, my aim when developing recipes is to create variations that are more nutrient-dense (and that are in calorie ranges that can help you to reach the goals you have set for yourself).

* In saying this, I do want to acknowledge and emphasize that everyone’s journey is different. In no way at all am I saying that you can’t (or shouldn’t) eat the ‘real deal’. Because that is absolutely perfect as well!! Not all meals have to be ‘health-ified’ – which is why you will find a combination of both healthy and wholesome recipes here on this blog! *

So… with all that being said, grab your apron, and let’s dive into a world of flavor, nourishment, and endless foodie adventures together! Trust me, it’s going to be one tasty journey delving into all of Ler’s Latest Flair(s).

Kitchen Essentials: Utensils You May Need

I hope you’re ready to dive into some kitchen therapy, and I hope you know that it’ll come with the added bonus of your living space smelling AMAZING!

From whisking and chopping to baking and simmering, having the right kitchen essentials on hand can make all your cooking experience SO much more enjoyable!

Here are a few things you may need to whip up the recipes you’ll find here on Ler’s Latest Flair:

NOT A MUST but a recOMmendation:

But a note on all things silicone for the kitchen — I couldn’t rave more about silicone kitchen tools if I tried. They are – in my humble opinion – some of the best inventions for the kitchen. For SO many reasons. If you can get your hands on some, I highly encourage it! Here are a the things I use the most of:

  • Silicone Spatula: from mixing to folding, scraping, and flipping. My spatula has been through it all. It’s my number 1 utensil!
  • Moulds: Individual cupcake liners, trays, cake moulds, etc.

1. For Bringing Your Ingredients Together:

  • Mixing Bowls: Mixing bowls in various sizes.
  • Blender or Food Processor: For really reallyyy easy puréeing and blending. Or even for making things like oat flour, smoothies, dips, batters, etc. Having one on hand will be a massive time-saver!

2. For Consistency:

The correct measurements will always make the world of difference when you’re following a recipe. It’s really important to get them right. This alone could be the make or break for the recipe turning out the way it should.

  • Kitchen Scale: The most common form of measuring that we will use! Pleaseee try to have one on hand! Any scale will do, but digital ones tend to be easier to use and more accurate too.
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons: These are a big YES from me! Sometimes the scale won’t pick up tiny measurements. In this case, we will use measuring cups and spoons instead.

3. Other Bits and Bobs:

Baking Pan & A Normal Pan: Whether we’re making cookies, roasting veggies, or baking sheet pan dinners – a good baking pan is a kitchen essential! To add to this: if you’re ever looking to invest in good quality kitchen equipment, PLEASE look at getting yourself good non-stick pots/ pans. I’m not going to say more. Just trust me.

Sharp Knife: A good sharp knife is always a good idea when you’re going to be whipping something up in the kitchen. From chopping vegetables to slicing meat, a good knife can help to make the process easier.

Cutting Board: We don’t want you ruining your countertops (or staining them)! Look for cutting boards made from durable materials like wood or plastic.
